Team training and coaching
Allowing your organisation to increase the real levers of performance
The research is unambiguous: Google's projects Oxygen and Aristotle studied hundreds of teams over close to a decade and found that high performance has almost nothing to do with talent, IQ, or team composition. What separates high performing teams from average ones is how people work together, whether they feel safe to speak up, can rely on each other, and believe their work matters. Other serious studies have since come to similar conclusions (e.g. McKinsey, 2024).
Rick Maurer's decades of research on organizational change also arrives at the same conclusion, but from a different angle: Nearly 70% of change initiatives fail. They fail not because the strategy was flawed or managers lacked technical competence, they fail because leaders are not equipped to navigate the personal and interpersonal dynamics that determine whether people engage, resist, or quietly disengage.
Multiple bodies of research come to one conclusion: what makes or breaks performance is almost always human, and it’s almost always under-addressed.
This is the gap our programs are designed to close.
Themes of my leadership programmes
Moving people forward: Mobilising teams, navigating resistance and managing stakeholders
01
For leaders who need to drive change and can't afford to lose people along the way. Grounded in Maurer's resistance framework, this program helps leaders diagnose why people push back and respond in ways that build momentum rather than erode trust.
02
From Expert to Leader: The first-time manager transition
The most underprepared moment in a leader's career. This coaching supports the shift from individual contributor to people leader, from delivering results yourself to creating conditions where others can. Strategic thinking, stakeholder navigation, and letting go of the operational comfort zone are the main training focus point here.
Honest cultures: Feedback, communication, and the conditions for candour
03
These are common themes across my leadership programmes, however every programme focusses on the specific situation of a particular team and organisation.
High-performing teams are not conflict-free; they are conflict-capable. This training program builds the habits and norms that make direct, respectful feedback a daily practice rather than an annual event. Because culture is not what's written on the wall; it's what people say when it's uncomfortable.
04
What's Really Going On: Reading team dynamics beneath the surface
For senior leaders and facilitators who sense that something is off but can't name it. Drawing on systems thinking and organizational role analysis, this training develops the capacity to read what's actually happening in a team: the patterns, the unspoken rules, the roles people play beyond their job titles. A rare skill that will help you be more impactful.

Three shorter formats, each a standalone experience, and a natural starting point for deeper work if you need to build on them
MBTI Interactive Workshops
Funny, surprising, and useful. Teams discover their unconscious collaboration patterns through experiential exercises. They leave knowing how to reframe the inefficient habits, reshuffle tasks, and work with each other's wiring rather than against it.
“The interactive sections helped to bring all knowledge together. It was revealing on how our team works together.”
— M., Venture Architect at Stryber (Consultancy)
Strengths-Based Workshops
What is this team actually brilliant at? How does the rest of the organisation know it? Teams explore their strengths, build a shared internal brand, and learn how to stay visible and relevant in a job market increasingly shaped by AI.
“Lenka delivered an inspiring and highly relevant session for our Executive Assistant team at Rothschild Bank that challenged us to rethink our value in a rapidly evolving workplace.”
— Executive Assistant Team at Rothschild & Co Bank AG
